Overview
Our client, a well-established and growing wholesale insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Wholesale Broker to join their London team. This role will focus on both business production and market placement, working closely with retail brokers to structure and place complex P&C risks into the London and international insurance markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded broker who enjoys building strong relationships with retail partners while leveraging market expertise to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers, acting as a trusted wholesale partner for complex P&C placements

• Produce new business opportunities through proactive broker engagement and market presence

• Analyse client risk exposures and structure appropriate Property & Casualty insurance solutions

• Negotiate terms and place risks with London Market and international insurers

• Prepare and present market submissions, ensuring high-quality documentation and accurate risk information

• Work closely with underwriters to secure competitive terms and capacity

• Manage the placement process from initial submission through to binding and post-placement servicing

• Maintain strong awareness of market appetite, capacity, and pricing trends

• Collaborate with internal teams including operations and claims where required

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in Property & Casualty broking, ideally within a wholesale or London Market environment

• Strong track record in business production and market placement

• Established relationships with retail brokers and/or London Market insurers

• Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills

• Strong understanding of P&C insurance structures and coverage

• Ability to manage multiple placements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and presentation skills
