The Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly respected insurance business to appoint a senior, commercially driven Account Executive/Client Director. This is a standout opportunity offering immediate access to a substantial pipeline of warm leads via an established national supplier network.
The role is national in scope, with the opportunity to engage directly with senior stakeholders, including board-level decision-makers at multi-million-pound turnover businesses. It would suit a confident, relationship-led individual who thrives in a client-facing, field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and converting a pipeline of warm leads generated through an established supplier network
- Managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients across the UK
- Leading client meetings at board level, advising on insurance strategies and solutions
- Building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Identifying new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions
- Regular travel across the UK, with occasional European travel opportunities
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7 years’ experience within the insurance market
- Strong cross-class knowledge, with exposure across SME through to corporate clients
- Proven ability to win and manage high-value client relationships
- Self-starter with a proactive, driven approach to business development
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable operating in a highly autonomous, field-based role
Working Arrangement
- Predominantly field-based, with travel across the UK
- Attendance at the King’s Cross office approximately once per week or fortnight
- Flexibility required to meet client demands
