The Opportunity

We are partnering with a highly respected insurance business to appoint a senior, commercially driven Account Executive/Client Director. This is a standout opportunity offering immediate access to a substantial pipeline of warm leads via an established national supplier network.

The role is national in scope, with the opportunity to engage directly with senior stakeholders, including board-level decision-makers at multi-million-pound turnover businesses. It would suit a confident, relationship-led individual who thrives in a client-facing, field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and converting a pipeline of warm leads generated through an established supplier network
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients across the UK
  • Leading client meetings at board level, advising on insurance strategies and solutions
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Identifying new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions
  • Regular travel across the UK, with occasional European travel opportunities
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience within the insurance market
  • Strong cross-class knowledge, with exposure across SME through to corporate clients
  • Proven ability to win and manage high-value client relationships
  • Self-starter with a proactive, driven approach to business development
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Comfortable operating in a highly autonomous, field-based role
Working Arrangement
  • Predominantly field-based, with travel across the UK
  • Attendance at the King’s Cross office approximately once per week or fortnight
  • Flexibility required to meet client demands
