The Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, internationally active business to appoint a senior insurance professional to take ownership of its global insurance programme.

This is a high-impact, strategic role with responsibility for overseeing multi-jurisdictional insurance arrangements across the UK and Europe, with further expansion planned. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping programme structure, driving market engagement, and supporting the company’s continued growth.

This opportunity would suit an experienced, market-facing professional with the gravitas to operate at board level and the technical expertise to lead complex placement strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full oversight of the global insurance programme across multiple territories, including the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Slovakia
  • Leading the design and execution of placement strategy across all classes of business
  • Managing insurer relationships and driving effective market engagement
  • Advising senior stakeholders and board-level executives on insurance strategy and risk
  • Coordinating renewals, programme structure, and ongoing optimisation
  • Supporting future European expansion from an insurance perspective
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members

Candidate Profile
  • 10+ years’ experience within the insurance market
  • Ideally ACII qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong all-rounder with broad cross-class expertise
  • Proven ability to operate credibly at board level, with strong presence and gravitas
  • Market-facing with well-established insurer relationships
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing placement strategies
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance technical detail and commercial outcomes
Working Arrangement
  • Hybrid model: 3 days per week in the King’s Cross office
  • 2 days client-facing / stakeholder engagement
