Ceded Re Senior Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ceded Re Senior Analyst to join a growing specialty insurance business. This role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing ceded reinsurance operations, ensuring accurate treaty administration, reporting, recoverables management and process improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ceded premium and loss reporting, collections and treaty activity
- Ensure accurate setup and administration of reinsurance arrangements
- Produce bordereaux, reporting and reconciliations
- Support financial close processes and ceded balance reporting
- Analyse exposure data and reinsurer performance
- Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Work closely with underwriting, claims, finance and reinsurance teams
- Liaise with brokers and external partners regarding documentation and reporting requirements
About You:
- 5+ years’ experience within ceded reinsurance operations or reinsurance accounting
- Strong understanding of quota share, treaty and facultative arrangements
- Experience within delegated authority/MGA business beneficial
- Knowledge of bordereaux management, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Professional qualifications (e.g. CII) advantageous
