A leading independent Lloyd’s insurance broker is looking to appoint an experienced Aviation Technician to join its growing Technical Solutions team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual with experience across premium processing, aviation insurance and London Market operations, looking to join a well-established and growing business.

The Role

Working closely with the broking and placing teams, you will be responsible for a range of technical and operational activities across aviation business, including:

  • Processing aviation risks through the relevant broking and processing systems
  • Managing premium bordereaux submissions to DXC
  • Supporting premium collection and credit control activity
  • Liaising with IBA and internal accounting teams to resolve premium-related queries
  • Producing regular reports and statistical information for the placing teams
  • Managing and resolving market, processing and credit control queries
  • Supporting the accurate and timely processing of Lloyd’s and London Market documentation
About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience within an insurance technician, broker technician or technical processing position, ideally with exposure to Aviation or another London Market specialty class.

You should have experience with:

  • Premium processing and invoicing
  • MRC risk and endorsement documentation
  • A&S submissions via the IMR
  • Lloyd’s of London applications, including Crystal
  • DXC Insurance Portal and resolving IMR queries
  • Global insurance placements, including premium tax and territory allocation
  • Brokasure Enterprise would be advantageous, although not essential

You will need strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to manage queries and deadlines while working closely with brokers, underwriters and internal stakeholders.
