A Lloyd's Syndicate seek a Reinsurance Technician, to help manage all post-purchase administration of owned Facultative and Treaty reinsurance including:
- Recording EOCs on company systems including entity/class allocations and managing outsourced work
- Effecting reinsurance recoveries for Facultative and Excess of Loss reinsurance and monitor debt
- Producing proportional treaty statements, risk bordereaux and claim bordereaux and monitor debt
- Effecting premium adjustments
- Collection of PCs, NCBs
- Responding to broker/reinsurer queries
Contribute to
- Production of reinsurance resume
- Reporting of cover erosion
- Production of loss information for reinsurance purchasing
- Monitoring of reinsurer performance
- Production of management information from XL Pro
- Regulatory reporting, SRS etc
- Maintenance of procedure manuals
- Project work including testing of XL Pro calculations
REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the relationships with customers, agents and service providers:
- Foster positive relationships with customers and attain an understanding of their needs
- Ensure that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly are upheld by agents and service providers
- Ensure that Customer Complaints are promptly identified, recorded and referred as appropriate
- Advise, assist and service customers on insurance and risk matters to promote customers’ satisfaction
Previous reinsurance recoveries experience is essential and any XL Pro experience will be advantageous.
