A London based insurance and reinsurance company is recruiting for a Lloyd’s Accounting Oversight Manager.
Reporting to the Deputy Group CFO, the successful applicant will support the Deputy Group CFO in an acquisition driven, hands on environment. You will have oversight of the Finance and Treasury services provided to the Syndicate by the Lloyd’s managing agent, assist with the planning and onboarding of new Lloyd’s transactions and will be responsible for the reporting of the Syndicate through the general ledger and in working with the Lloyd’s managing agent to effectively explain the Syndicate’s financial result.
Applicants will need to be qualified accountants with the ability to explain insurance results for both the technical and non-technical accounts, have non-life (re)insurance knowledge and experience, be able to review processes and controls and ideally (although not essential) have experience of operating in a Lloyd’s environment.
