.Our client plays a critical role in the Political Risks, Political Violence, War and Terrorism classes in the London Insurance Market. Led by a highly respected lead underwriter our client is now looking to add an additional underwriter to join their busy team based in the heart of the City.
We are looking for an individual who wants to work for one of the strongest brands in the market and play a key part of the underwriting team's growth. As a PV, PR, War or Terrorism Assistant Underwriter this will give you the perfect opportunity to step up into a more senior role within a well respected team and help grow the book.
Key duties will include -
Ensuring risks are analysed and written always within all underwriting guidelines
Understanding and negotiating reinsurance wordings in line with the corporate standards
To develop and maintain effective relationships with new and existing brokers in the market
To maintain and build relationships with existing and new clients through regular contact
To continually undertake analysis of the portfolio to identify business opportunities, products and clients
