This is a new opportunity within a Global Insurer for a Development Underwriter to join a small and collaborative team.
You will interact and collaborate with a team of regional or product colleagues and brokers to attract new business, retain existing customers, and explore new areas of business. You will help achieve planned financial results (retention, pricing, new business, profitability) through execution of regional or product underwriting strategies.
The role involves both underwriting and sales and includes direct responsibility for broker development and management within a defined book of business focusing on large complex cases.
