A leading Lloyd's Managing Agency have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Claims Specialist.
Under general direction, the candidate will:
Provide market leading expert management and claims handling of Transactional Liability (TL),Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) and Financial Lines claims operating under MGA agreements containing delegated authority arrangements. This position will require strong Transactional Liability, W&I and Financial Lines claims handling experience, day to day management of binder business and close engagement with various MGAs across the portfolio
Ensure regular reporting to the senior management and key stakeholders on complex and high value claims
Conduct thorough investigation, analysis, evaluation, negotiation and resolution of assigned claims through close engagement with designated MGAs and maintaining oversight of matters both within and outside of delegated authority (financial & non-financial) thresholds
Engage on a regular basis with the designated MGAs to ensure effective oversight of all claims and early proactive communication/awareness as to any potential significant exposures for the purpose of wider reporting to business
Ensure effective engagement with external legal counsel specialising in TL work to assist with meaningful and proactive reporting on coverage issues and case strategy.
