A London market insurance group is seeking a qualified accountant to fill a newly created position of Technical Reporting Accountant.
Accountable to the Finance Director, the successful applicant will provide high quality management and financial reporting for the group entities and support process improvements.
This will include supporting and leading ongoing business-wide process and procedure improvement projects (such as IFRS 17 implementation) and system change, relating to core financial reporting.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with at least 3 years financial reporting experience gained within the insurance industry, have either handled or played a significant role in the technical close of an insurance business, possess good analytical and MI reporting skills, have the ability to apply process improvements and have strong excel skills.
