Our client, who are a market leader within the global insurance market, are looking for a strategic and organised Senior Auditor to join their team on a permanent basis.
While continuously striving to improve quality and proficiency, the purpose of the role is to provide objective, independent, risk-based internal control evaluations, supporting the company’s SOX compliance initiatives and objectively evaluating key controls.
Duties will include but not be limited to; audits and SOX compliance reviews, identifying risks and tests controls, evaluating control areas by developing audit plans, programs, and specific tests. You will conduct regular monitoring of several of the company’s business functions, preparing documentation adhering to internal audit standards, providing recommendations for improvement towards the audit reports, assists in the preparation of quarterly monitoring reports and other duties that are assigned.
The successful candidate will have previous audit experience in a similar industry with a solid understanding of the audit cycle. You will be strategic, analytical, and transparent in your approach while maintaining strong leadership qualities. A background in Insurance is desirable as well as an accountancy qualification.
