A London market insurance business is recruiting for a Finance Operations Accountant.
Joining the Finance Operations department and supporting the Finance Operations Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for the various functions of the general ledger, expense reporting, payment management, systems administration and ownership of key updates.
You will work closely with both offshore colleagues to ensure that accounts payables and expense management deliverables are timely and accurate and that the onshore team is exercising due oversight.
Applicants must have prior experience within financial operations, including accounts payable and expense management, with a sound understanding of Finance systems (including treasury, expenses and general ledger systems), experience preparing management accounting information, a track record of process improvement and delivery, business partnering experience with strong communication and presentational skills and have strong IT skills especially with Excel.
