A leading Wholesale Broker are looking for an experienced Marine Broker Technician. Ideally looking for technical expertise in the 'wider marine' hull, liability, P&I etc and if you have some cargo experience, this would be preferable.
As the Broker Technician you will deal with various duties, including Calculating premiums and processing entries on to the in house broking system, renew and/or set up new line-slips on to their “in house” system, review and process line-slip declarations as and when required, production of insurance documentation (eg: slips, cover notes, endorsements etc), provide guidance and technical training to junior members of the team where required and be able to build and sustain relationships with other team members in order to resolve any processing problems.
