A London city based Underwriting company is recruiting for an interim Reconciliation Project Accountant for a 6 month contract.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Financial Control team with performing balance sheet reconciliations.
The successful applicant will assist with reconciling reinsurance payable and receivable transactions in the general ledger against source systems across multiple entities, document the reinsurance payable and receivable process plus validate and data cleanse multiple ledgers by line of business, location and reinsurance split.
Applicants must have previous project reconciliation experience, be highly competent using excel and ideally also have a background in technical accounting.
